JKPM leader demands timebound inquiry in Rizwan Assad's custodial killing

Srinagar, Mar 21 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) leader Syed Iqbal Tahir on Thursday while interacting with a group of students has said that Government must provide a clear timeline by when any magisterial inquiry will be completed into the custodial killing of Rizwan Assad of Awantipora.
He felt that people of the state have lost the trust of all these magisterial inquires. Hardly anything has come out of them and truth has been the biggest casualty.
He demanded that the custodial killing of Rizwan Assad must be investigated by a sitting judge of the High Court as nothing less will meet the ends of justice in this case. (KNS)
