JKPCC facing crisis of leadership in J&K, says Manzoor Ganai

Srinagar, May 28 (KNS): Congress leader, Advocate Manzoor Ahmad Ganai Tuesday said that the State Congress was facing crisis of leadership in Jammu and Kashmir from last many years.

Advocate Manzoor as per a statement issued to KNS said that the Congress party in the State has been facing a crisis of leadership for the last many years, infact ever since Saif-ud-din Soz was made the JKPCC Chief, the rot that had set -in during his tenure as PCC Chief j and k has further deepened during last few years.

“The recent defeat suffered by Congress in the State has only illustrated as to how Congress has weakened and become direction less due to the doings of the state leadership,” he said, adding that G A Mir as PCC Chief of has appointed almost half a dozen of vice president and half a dozen of General Secretaries.

The PCC Chief G A Mir has not accepted the moral responsibility of the defeat and has not resigned, instead he seems to be coining explanation on his behalf and on behalf of his team, he said, adding that the explanations offered by him do not reflect the mishandling of the party and other related realties with regards to the party.

“One would have hoped that he will follow the foot-steps of PCC Chiefs of states like UP, Bihar etc. and would have resigned but so far he has chosen not to resign,” he added. (KNS)
