Srinagar, Nov 17 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Hotel and Restaurant Association (JKHARA) participated in India Travel Mart Jammu at Hotel Ramada Ghulab Singh Marg, Jammu to promote J&K tourism potential among travel agents from other states.
The travel agents and other tourism and travel promoters from different parts of the country participated in the travel mart.
In a statement issued to KNS, JKHARA said it would participate in upcoming travel marts also to showcase JK’s tourism potential.
JKJCCPS urged state tourism department to participate in all the travel marts and road shows outside the state for aggressive marketing of the state.
JKHARA President Showkat Chowdhary said tourism sector is badly hit by the negative perception and joining travel marts is a must for every travel body to network with business promoters from other states and apprise them that Kashmir is safe. (KNS)
