Express support for betterment of tourism sector

Srinagar, Nov 13 (KNS): In a series of meetings to bring coordination and efficiency among trade bodies for the general good of the economic sectors of the state, Jammu and Kashmir Hotel and Restaurant Association (JKHARA) held meeting with Kashmir Economic Alliance led by Maohammad Yasin Khan.
The meeting was attended by KEA chairman along with its Vice-Chairman Iqbal Tramboo and other constituent members while as the JKHARA was led by its President Showkat M Chowdhary.
JKHARA urged KEA chairman to work in unison for the betterment of the tourism sector which is facing tough times due to negative media publicity and other prevailing situations.
Showkat Chowdhary said KEA is a bigger voice of trade bodies and has also done commendable job in addressing problems of the traders.
KEA assured that they would work for reviving tourism sector and take up the matters concerning hospitality sector with the higher authorities.
KEA congratulated Showkat Chowdhary for heading JKHARA and also expressed its full support to the association for strengthening the tourism sector of the state. (KNS)
