Srinagar, Sep 18 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party has remembered Shaheed Aijaz Ahmad Dar, on his martyrdom anniversary. Paying rich tributes to Shaheed Aijaz Dar, the JKDFP Spokesperson said that Shaheed Aijaz Dar will always be remembered among the pioneers of the ongoing resistance movement. Shaheed Aijaz Dar, like every other martyr sacrificed his precious life for a great cause and scripted a new chapter of resistance history.
The JKDFP Spokesperson while remembering every Kashmiri martyr said that the precious blood of our martyrs will show its colour in near future because the sacrifices of martyrs never go waste. He said that the day is not far when the people of Jammu Kashmir will enjoy their accepted and acclaimed political rights.
The party spokesperson strongly condemned the fresh arrest spree in nook and corner and said that incarcerations and other sorts of tyranny cannot silent Jammu Kashmiri people. He strongly condemned the arresting of many youth in night raids in Anantnag. He said that instead of targeting the youth of Kashmir, it is better for New Delhi and its local agents to accept the historical realities about the long pending Kashmir dispute so that it is resolved according to the wishes of the people living in the disputed region.
Meanwhile, a JKDFP delegation led by Advocate Fayaz Ahmad Sodagar went to the residence of Shaheed Rouf Ahmad, in Anchidora Anantnag and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members. Unarmed Rouf Ahmad was brutally killed by government forces at Chowgam, Qazigund a few days back after the men in uniform unleashed terror on unarmed protesters. Advocate Fayaz Sodagar while expressing sympathy with the bereaved family said that civilian killings like Shaheed Rouf Ahmad are blots on the face of Indian democracy. By such killings families are deserted and especially parents land in a situation full of depression and despair. (KNS)
