Appeals state Govt to fulfill demands of employees

Srinagar, Mar 07 (KNS): A general body meeting of the J&K Civil Secretariat Non Gazetted Employees Union was held today under the chairmanship of President Ghulam Rasool Mir, in order to discuss sole issue of Cadre Review.
As per the statement issued to KNS, it has been observed that some invisible forces are deliberately instigating for halting or marred the promotion avenues of feeding service for their vested interests, thus provoking employees to choose path of confrontation.
In the meeting, they urged the state government to fulfill their demands.
“Resolve Cadre Review issue in toto; and Re-allocate the slots in KAS in accordance with provisions of SRO 386 of 2008 i.e. 50:50 basis (Direct : Promotee) and restore the quota to the respective feeding channel diverted previously to give benefit Direct Recruit (KAS), in accordance with the “Report of High Power Committee in the case of titled Suraj Prakash Gupta V/s State and Ors. – streamlining the cadre management of Gazetted and Non-Gazetted Services” notified vide Government Order No.107-GAD of 2002 dated:16/01/2002 which provides for restoration of share to each feeding category given in excess of prescribed quota as per rules,” they demanded.
The statement said that for the welfare of all the employees, the Union unanimously decided that the next programme/ strategy will be communicated by 12/03/2018in case Government fails in resolving the genuine long pending issue. (KNS)
