Srinagar, Dec 03 (KNS): JK Handicapped Association observed world disability day in Anantnag, today. Members of this association PARTICIPATED in huge numbers.
Some members while talking to media said that Govt has failed to fulfill fill their long pending demands for safeguarding rights of specially ABLED people.
Some members urged on the govt to direct all concerned Deptts to help and extend support to the physically Handicapped people.
District president Anantnag, jk Handicapped association, Javaid Shergojri said we are living miserable life. Our members are sidelined everywere. He said some people are playing with the sentiments of Handicapped persons and are minting money in the name of Handicapped people.
He appealed administration to play vital role in protecting rights of Handicapped people.
Later on protest rally was organised by the members of Handicapped association from Achabal adda to Lal Chowk Islamabad. (KNS)
