‘What can be uglier than playing politics in the name of human blood?’

Srinagar, Jun 25 (KNS): Incarcerated chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik while condemning the ongoing slaughter of Kashmiris by Indian army, police and forces, said “blood of innocent humans is being spilled ruthlessly in Kashmir and this is the responsibility of United Nations to intervene and stop this bloodshed. During last ten days about two dozen Kashmiris have fallen to the bullets of trigger happy Indians who at the behest of their political masters are engaged in this genocide.”
According to a statement issued to KNS, it is pertinent to mention that police in the wee hours of morning today raided the residence of JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik and arrested him. He was immediately shifted to police station Kothibagh. JKLF spokesman has strongly condemned this arrest.
While condemning the ongoing slaughter of Kashmiris by trigger happy Indian forces, JKLF incarcerated chairman in his message from incarceration has said that though from last three years blood of innocent Kashmiris is being spilled mercilessly but form last ten days this blood bath has been speeded-up alarmingly and dozens of innocent Kashmiris have fallen to the bullets of Indian occupation during these days.
Yesterday, a civilian Yawar Ahmad was fired upon directly and killed brutally while as two others including Shakoor Ahmad Dar from Kulgam embraced martyrdom at the hands of Indian trigger happy forces. Only two days back in similar manner Indian colonial forces massacred five Kashmiris at Sirigufwara and injured dozens among whom one Shahid Nazir Hajam succumbed to his injuries yesterday. Also on the last day of Ramazan and on Eid day, three unarmed Kashmiris were brutally killed by men in uniform and even today forces have opened fire at Nadihal Faridabad injuring one Ubaid Manzoor Lone seriously.
JKLF chairman said that Indian army, forces, SOG and police have speeded-up this blood bath, apparently at the behest of their political masters who want to take advantage in upcoming elections by killing more and more Kashmiris. What can be more atrocious than playing politics on human blood and tragedy and only fascists following the foot-steps of Hitler and Mussolini can do this horrible job, asserted JKLF chairman.
He said from last day of Ramazan, a new phase of terror and oppression was launched by India in the name of disciplining common people. Crackdowns in the name of CASO are being launched especially in south Kashmir during which people without the discrimination of age and gender are beaten, tortured, vandalized and intimidated by Indian colonial forces. All this is naked terrorism being perpetuated by the so-called biggest democracy and world including the UN needs to look into this and halt this aggression, asserted Yasin Malik.
Asking international community to intervene and stop Indian aggression on Kashmiris, JKLF chairman said that recently a heartening report was released by UN human rights commission regarding human rights abuses in Jammu Kashmir. Today United Nations Humans rights council is in session at Gevena and suppressed Kashmiris are eagerly looking towards it. We want to urge UN human rights council to have a human heart and sympathetic look towards oppressed Kashmiris and intervene to stop ongoing genocide of Kashmiris by Indian forces.
JKLF incarcerated chairman said that Kashmiris are facing the wrath of colonial India from last seventy plus years during which every harsh measure and every evil tactic has been employed by the illegal occupant to legitimize its occupation and suppress our voices. Kashmiris are being killed, maimed, jailed, tortured, humiliated and denied their birth right of freedom and right to self-determination and it is imperative upon the UN to follow its positive report with concrete steps to help Kashmiris realize their national self-determination and address the long pending question of Jammu Kashmir which is a case of incomplete decolonization in south Asia.
While expressing solidarity with those families who lost their dear ones during last few days, JKLF chairman said that the pain and agony inflicted on these families is huge but we want to assure them that whole nation stands behind them in this hour of grief and sorrow. JKLF chairman while praying for the heavenly abode of those martyred, prayed for the patience of their bereaved families and also for the speedy recovery of those injured. (KNS)
