Srinagar: As the allegations of bribery against Inspectors of power development department for repairs of the damaged transfers in Srinagar and major towns of Kashmir are touching sky rocketing heights, the Chief Engineer PDD Kashmir and Executive Engineers of the concerned areas are turning a deaf ear to the repeated complaints pouring from different areas of Srinagar city and major towns of Kashmir valley.
Several delegations from parts of Srinagar city and major towns of Kashmir valley approached this correspondent that the damaged transformers of their areas are not repaired and Inspectors of their concerned localities are asking them to raise donations for the repairs of the damaged power transformers.
Repeated attempts by this correspondent to contact Chief Engineer Kashmir and concerned Executive Engineers for knowing their response on charges of bribery against the Inspectors failed as they did not bother to pick up repeated calls from this office. (KNS)
