Says Kashmiri prisoners facing hardships in jails

Srinagar, Feb 02 (KNS): United Jihad Council (UJC) on Friday said the Indian leadership and defense experts are justifying the killing of Kashmiris.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the UJC spokesman, Syed Sadaqat Hussain quoted its chief, Syed Salah-ud-din said, “At a time when the forces continue to shower pellets and bullets on people of Kashmir, the Indian leadership and defense expert are justifying their wrong doings.”
He said that the “pro-freedom leaders and others languishing in jails are facing hardships.”
“The raids are being carried out to arrest the ailing women pro-freedom leader, Syeda Asiya Andrabi who was recently released,” he said, adding that “Asiya never and will not succumb to such kind of things.”
He said that “international human rights bodies are acting as mute spectators through which they are providing license to cruel forces to kill Kashmiris, which is condemnable.” (KNS)
