Pahalgam, Jun 18 (KNS): Social Activist and National TV debater Inam Un Nabi has saluted the bravery of Tourist Guide Rouf Ahmad Dar, who lost his life while rescuing tourists from the Lidder river in Pahalgam. He described Rouf as a real life hero who sacrificed his life for saving lives of others.

Paying rich tributes to the deceased, Inam Un Nabi said that he is true martyr who has attained this martyrdom in the true spirit of Kashmiri hospitality.

A delegation of social activists led by Inam Un Nabi visited his family at Yenad Pahalgam for condolence and expressed his grief and prayed for strength to the family.

Inam also demanded government employment to the next of kin.

He further said that Rouf Dar was an epitome of human sacrifice and he taught us true meaning of valour and courage, we stand with the bereaved family in this hour of grief, he added.

The members in the delegation included Umar Wani, Firdouse Nabi, Sahil Wani and Nisar Wani. (KNS)
