Srinagar, May 25 (KNS): J&K Anjuman Sharie Shian’s Advocate Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi paid rich tributes to Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s) the most illustrious companions of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), saying that “he will continue to be a role model for the Muslims till the day of the judgment.

In a statement Advocate Aga said Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib (a.s) spent his entire life for the cause of Allah and Islam and followed the footprints of beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) throughout his whole life.

Aga said that Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s) earned fame for being born in the house of Allah, the Khana-e-Kabba, and he was also martyred in a Masjid in Kufa.

He said that the Commander of the Faithful (a.s.) is a personality whose greatness, characteristics, and high status in Islam are not debated among Muslims. Therefore, we can confidently claim that the Commander of the Faithful (a.s.) can serve as the common point among all sects of Islam. In all eras and at all times, all the sects of Islam consider the Commander of the Faithful (a.s.) as having a high and prominent status, as is described in the religious texts of the Shia and the Sunni. Therefore, the Commander of the Faithful (a.s.) is the commonality among all sects of Islam, and he can serve as the point of departure for unity among Muslims.

Advocate Aga said Hazrat Ali (a.s) fought for justice and fairness with full might and didn’t surrender till his last breath which will be written in the golden words in the history of Islam. (KNS)
