Ganderbal, Apr 28 (KNS): Illegal constructions continue along Srinagar-Leh highway at Rayil area of Gund in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district while the authorities of Revenue department turn blind eye to stop the loot.

Sources told KNS that some persons constructed a toilet on Power Development Corporations (PDC) land on Srinagar-Leh highway at Rayil area and concerned department is helplessly watching as mute spectator.

Sources said these people who illegally constructed toilet in PDC’s land don’t pay heed to the government orders.

Tehsildar Kangan who is also holding additional charge of Gund told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that he will look into the matter.

He assured that anyone who violates the government orders will face music.

He further said that they have already demolished an illegal structure on Nallah sindh at Wussan Kangan. (KNS)
