Will take strict action if anybody found violating norms: Tehsildar Kangan

Ganderbal, Sep 03 (KNS): In a blatant violation of High Court orders that no structure should come along Nallah Sindh within 100 metre yard, the illegal construction is going unabated along Nallah Sindh in Ganiwan, Satrina and check Akhal areas of Kangan Tehsil of Central Kashmir's Ganderbal district.
Local sources said that some norm violators have been raising the illegal structures along Nallah Sindh and are raising it in a broad-daylight with the concerned authorities are watching it as ‘mute spectators’.
They said that though the High Court (HC) had ordered that no one is allowed to create any structure along Nallah Sindh but some persons here in Satrina, Check Akhal and Ganiwan areas are raising the structures in a broad-day light.
Locals of these areas said that concerned authorities are not taken any action against the persons who raising their structures illegally.
Tehsildar Kangan, Mushtaq Bajaad told Kashmir News Service that the issue was not brought into his notice so far. “Strict action will be initiated if anyone was found raising the illegal structure in these areas,” he said. (KNS)
