‘Kashmiris have always maintained that all disputes are to be resolved through dialogue’

Srinagar, May 27 (KNS): Reacting to Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s statement about talks, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) today said that Kashmiris have always maintained that all disputes are to be resolved through dialogue however the dialogue process has its necessities which are a must to complete so as to make the process result oriented.
In a statement issued to KNS, JKDFP secretary general, Moulana Mohammad Abdullah Tari said that New Delhi must not use the term ‘talks’ only before media but it should use dialogue as an institution to resolve the long pending Kashmir dispute.
The principal party of the Kashmir dispute, Kashmiri people, are looking for peace as they are the main sufferers of the dispute so it is our firm belief that dialogue should not be a mere photo session but it must lead to the resolution.
Moulana Tari said that dialogue is the only effective tool to resolve issues however it must be held only to find a solution rather adding to the problem.
If Indian Home Minister is serious in his statement he must order his forces to barracks, engage all the parties of the dispute and release all political prisoners so that a conducive atmosphere is made which can lead to a result oriented dialogue, Moulana Tari said and added that these are not any conditions to dialogue but its necessities.
