Srinagar, Jun 22 (KNS): Director General of Police (DGP) Dr S P Vaid on Friday said that with the killing of four militants in Srigufwara area of Anantnag district in South Kashmir, the government forces have almost eliminated the cadres of IS in Jammu and Kashmir State.
He claimed that the militants killed today were involved in several attacks on CRPF and JK police including the attack on CRPF at Lasjan Srinagar, the killing of a cop in Soibug Budgam and several other incidents.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Vaid said, “The investigation into the killing of veteran journalist Shujaat Bukhari is going on and we will reveal to media whenever SIT probing the killing achieves any breakthrough.” (KNS)
