Srinagar, Jan 10 (KNS): Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Wednesday paid tributes to the slain militants who were killed in separate encounters that raged between forces and militants in last couple of days.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the Hizb spokesman, Saleem Hashmi quoted the outfit chief; Syed Salah-ud-din said that “the youth are sacrificing their lives, which will help in achieving freedom.”
He said that “the slain militant Fardeen Ahmad Wani was active from past one year and sacrificed his life for the freedom movement.”
The Hizb chief also paid tribute to the slain militants who were killed in Budgam encounter, saying that “the youth are joining militant ranks to take the freedom movement to its logical conclusion.”
He also paid tributes to the civilian of Khudwani, Khaklid Ahmad who was killed yesterday during the clashes.
“The Indian forces are trying to hide their defeat by using weapons against the civilians, which indicates the frustration of the forces,” he said. (KNS)
