‘Militants sacrificed lives for freedom, Islam’

Srinagar, Nov 14 (KNS): Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Tuesday paid tributes to the slain militants killed in Handwara and Kulgam encounter on Monday and Tuesday.
Hizb operational spokesman, Burhan-ud-din, in a tele-statement to KNS, quoted the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din as paying tributes to three militants killed in Handwara and Kulgam encounter. “The militants sacrificed their lives for Islam and the freedom struggle,” Burhan quoted Hizb chief as saying.
He said that the two militants identified as Toib of Sopore and Aashiq Hussain of Palhalan were affiliated with Hizb while the another militant killed in Kulgam today identified as Showkat Ahmad Dar was affiliated with LeT.
Hizb operational spokesman said that Hizb vice chief, Saifullah Khalid and operational commander, Muhammad bin Qasim has also paid tributes to the slain militants.
“The militants and the people have pledged to continue their struggle till the logical conclusion. The occupational forces have to vacate,” he said. (KNS)
