Srinagar, Mar 05 (KNS): Democratic Liberation Party (DLP) chairman, Hashim Qureshi on Monday condemned the civilian killings in Shopian and said that the people of Kashmir are being killed under a well-planned conspiracy to suppress their resolve.
In a statement issued to KNS, Qureshi reiterated that such killings by the hands of forces will continue until the black law AFSPA won’t be revoked.
“The black law AFSPA is providing shelter to the forces after killing Kashmiris,” he said, adding that Supreme Court (SC) was announced its verdict over previous Shopian killings in view of the AFPSA.
He appealed people from shades including Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and National conference (NC) to get united and revoke the AFSPA law from Kashmir.
Qureshi asked the legislators from the two regional parties to pass a bill regarding the AFSPA revocation the assembly.
He also expressed solidarity with the bereaved families. (KNS)
