Srinagar, Apr 17 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Qayoom Wani said that ban on Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) having no legal ground and such type of vindictive orders have always proved counterproductive.

In a statement issued to KNS, Wani said that by shrinking political space to dissent voices have always pushed people to the wall and added to the miseries of common people.

PDP leader said that harassing Government employees in the name of Jel and JKLF is unacceptable and recent order from home department issued in this behalf have created a sense of insecurity among employees and will have negative effects on the work culture.

He said that any move to punish employee fraternity under the grab of arbitrary orders will have serious repercussions. (KNS)
