Hakeem Yaseen aghast over mine blast at Tossamaidan
Demands registration of FIR against negligence
Srinagar, Aug 12 (KNS): Chairman PDF and MLA Khansahib Hakeem Yaseen has expressed sorrow over killing of a youth and injuring several in a mysterious landmine blast at tourist resort Tossamaidan today.
In a statement to KNS, Hakeem Yaseen has said this was the second tragic incident of this kind since last year after Army has given no objection certificate for opening Tossamaidan for tourists which was earlier used as the Army firing range. He has demanded a thorough investigation as to how landmine blasts occur there despite sensitization of the meadow against any residual artillery shells. He has also demanded registration of FIR about the incident so that culprits responsible for this negligence are booked under law.
Hakeem Yaseen has demanded ex-gratia relief in favour of the deceased family and free Medicare treatment to the injured persons. (KNS)
