Congress workers join NC in Poonch

Poonch, Nov 13 (KNS): A number of Congress party workers today joined National Conference during a meeting organised in Islambad village area of Poonch.
Meeting was chaired by provincial president of youth NC, Ajaz Jan wherein local people discussed a number of issues primarily concerned with shortage of basic amenities.
Later they joined NC hailing the visionary and pro-people approach of party command.
Addressing in this meeting, Ajaz Jan, Youth NC Provincial President, said that tall claims of central government for bunker construction in border villages has fallen flat.
He also said that Border Area Development Project (BADP) funds have not been utilised properly and government needs to come up with a solid approach to e sure proper implementation of funds.
Jan also accused PDP-BJP led previous state government for attempts to crush special status of state and leading to a state of chaos in Jammu and Kashmir.
He also said that a number of vital do projects started by Omar Abdullah led government have been shelved merely for political gains by precious government and Governor Administration is also still to pay concern to the same.
During this meeting, the Congress workers who joined NC include Mohammad Farid Sheikh, Abdul Majid Khatana, Khurshid Ahmed sheikh, Mohd Kasam Khatana, Mohd Haneef Khatana, Faizan Hussain Rathoor, Mohd Rashid Rathoor, Mohd Sarvar Dar, Mohd Akbar Hajam, Mir Hussain Khatana, Jamal Din Kharana, Mohd Javid Rathoor, Mohad Laqat Paswal, Shazad Sheikh, Iqhaliq Ahmed Dar, Nazakat Ali Dar, Badar Din Chakara, Mohd Shabir Chokata, Mokhtar Ahmed Khatana, Mohd Bashir Tarwa, Ajaz Ahmed Sheikh and others.
