Baramulla, Sep 20 (KNS): Government Boys Higher Secondary School Fatehgarh in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday celebrated its annual day on 20 September. During the celebratory function, several cultural programs, topics, skits, solo songs, Ladi Shah, Quwali were presented by various groups of students of the institution which were highly appreciated by the audience.
On the occasion, Principal of the institute Imtiyaz Ahmad appreciated the performances of the students and said that “these functions provide a platform to students where they can showcase their hidden talents.
Meanwhile, Gh Nabi Wani of Fatehgarh from Baramulla district, as the Chief Guest, presented an informative lecture about Islamic, general knowledge and shared some good messages among the students.
GH Nahi Wani also hailed the contribution of the Higher Secondary and congratulated them for organizing such fruitful programmes.
Besides PDP Zonel president Baramulla Gh Rasool Bhat, Dr Shabir Ahmad Baqwaan and other dignitaries were also present who presented their lectures among students and wished them good luck in future.
Latter the talented students awarded by the principle of The government boys higher secondary school Fatehgarh including Mohammad Momin of Zogiyaar who selected under 19 cricket and Adnan Ghulam of Sheeri who selected under 17 for the Jammu and kashmir cricket association.
Meanwhile the vote of thanks was proposed by vice principal of the institution Hilal Ahmad and the function concluded with the rendering of the AZHAN for Zuhar prayer. (KNS)
