Srinagar, Jun 23 (KNS): A group of 17 young Indian Police Service Officers comprising Vineeth G.; Shabarish. P, Nikhil. B, Adduru Srinivasulu, Karthik Malladi, Narra Chaitnya, Bindu Madhav Garikapati, Varun Guntupalli, BBGTS Murthy, Bogati Jagadeeswar Reddy, Pradeep Gunti, Mamoni Doley, Kshetrimayum Ravikumar Singh. Richa Tomar, Lt. Galay Namgay, Vasana Vidhya Sagar Naidu and Priyadarshini Battacharya called on Governor N. N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan this evening. All these IPS Probationers of 70 RR are part of Group -1 who are on a Study cum Cultural Tour to J&K. Amrita Dash, Assistant Director, National Police Academy, accompanied these young officers. K. Vijay Kumar, Advisor to Governor, was present on the occasion.
Interacting with the young Police Officers, Governor shared with them his views about the obtaining security situation in the State and urged them to work with zeal and high devotion for ensuring the effective maintenance of public order and internal security in their cadre States. He observed that high professionalism, fairness and complete honesty must be the bench mark of their future service in the States to which they have been allocated. He enquired about their itinerary and encouraged them to visit the scenic places in the Valley.
