Srinagar, May 03 (KNS): Governor Satya Pal Malik has regretted the injury to 24 school students and instructed the health authorities to give free treatment to the injured.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that Governor expressed his well wishes to the injured students and has asked the health department to provide best and free treatment to the injured students.

At least 24 school students, many of them girls, met with an accident after returning from an excursion from Pahalgam.

Div Com said that the injured were treated at Health centre Seer Hamdan in Pahalgam of Anantnag district.

Khan said that consequent upon Governor's directions, the students were given refreshment and treatment to injured students and have been sent home. (KNS)
