We are in for worst days if he seeks to lead JK in this fashion: Akhtar

Srinagar, Feb 06 (KNS): Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) senior leader and former minister Naeem Akhtar on Wednesday slammed the governor Satya Pal Malik over his remarks on PDP President Mehbooba Mufti and has accused him of shooting the messenger instead of taking action against the complaint.
“This is like shooting the messenger instead of taking action on the complaint. The Governor is targeting the party which has been channelising people’s problems for the last two decades. This Governor is showing a clear bias and if he seeks to lead the state in this fashion, we are in for worst days,” Akhtar told KNS over phone.
Earlier, Akhtar had tweeted : “Governor saheb is finally proving @BJP4India state president correct. “Apna Banda hai”. Their jobs look swappable.”
Earlier Governor Malik lashed out at PDP president Mehbooba Mufti who had criticized an army man for torturing a youth in south Kashmir’s Pulwama. (KNS)
