Student players express gratitude, thank Minister of Sports

Srinagar, Apr 26 (KNS): Girls competitions of football, under scheme “Lets Play football” co-branded with Khelo India and sponsored by ministry of sports Government of India started in District Baramulla.
At Showkat Ali stadium and High School Khawaja Bagh, teams from eight zones of the district under the age group 12, 16 and 19 are taking part in the competitions.
A G Malik (Joint District Planning), Sheikh Mushtaq manager sports council Baramulla, Khursheed Tariq district youth service and sports officer Baramulla and Hakim Abdul Aziz district coordinator NYK were present at the inaugural function of the mega event, first such event held in the district.
All student players expressed their gratitude and thanked the Minister of Sports Molvi Imran Raza Ansari and the Director General youth services and sports Sheikh Fayaz for providing them such an opportunity to show their talent in the field of football. In all 24 matches were played on the first day. (KNS)
