Srinagar, Sep 24 (KNS): Hailing statement of Pakistani prime minister Shahid Khan Abbasi in UN general assembly, Syed Ali Geelani said that address he delivered was eloquent, apt and represented the aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Hailing Pakistan for its moral support for Kashmir cause, Geelani said that Pakistan has always raised Kashmir issue in all international forums and has stressed its resolution through, meaningful dialogue and as per aspirations of people.
Ridiculing Indian authorities for their haughty approach, Geelani said that they always opted to use coercion to prolong their illegal occupation, however failed to suppress freedom sentiments of people.
It has proved that Pakistan is a sincere and well-wisher for people of Jammu and Kashmir, said Geelani while hailing Shahid Khan Abbasi for his recent speech in UN general assembly.
Stressing international community, Geelani said that they should play their role and resolve issue as per aspirations of people in state. (KNS)
