Srinagar, Jan 18 (KNS): Chairman, Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Geelani expressed his deep regret on the demise of member of Jamaat-e-Islami Sheikh Jajal-ud-din of Kralpora.
While offering condolences to the grieved family he said that Kashmir has lost a renowned Islamic Scholar and it is land to fulfill this gap.
Geelani said that Sheikh Jalal-ud-din fought for the establishment of Islamic system and he, as a member of the Jamaat-e-Islami, always worked for that. While sympathizing with grieved family he said that late Jalal-ud-din was an active and energetic Islamist and prayed eternal peace.
Meanwhile on the directions of Geelani, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leaders Mohammad Rafiq Uwasi, Umar Aadil Dar, Syed Imtiyaz Hyder, Mohammad Maqbool and Haji Gh. Hassan visited the bereaved family and pray for Allah to rest the departed soul. (KNS)
