Ganderbal Municipality urges devotees not to carry polythene during Kheerbawani mela

Srinagar, Jun 09 (KNS): The administration in Ganderbal has provided all the support and resources for the devotees who are coming to participate in Kheerbawani religious festival.

The administration has deployed officials and Municipality workers to maintain hygiene and basic facilities for the thousands of devotees who throng the temple at Kheerbawani in Tumulla, Ganderbal.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Sarfraz Ahmad Executive Officer Municipality Ganderbal said that the teams have been deployed for cleanliness of the entire temple area and the roads leading to it.

"We request all the devotees to support us on maintaining the area clean. I appeal devotees not to bring polythene and other pollution creating material alongwith them," he said.

He said that the administration has kept the facilities available for the devotees. (KNS)
