Srinagar, Nov 15 (KNS): Strongly condemning the slapping of 37th PSA on Muslim League chairman, Masarat Alam, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has said that PSA has become a tool of suppression and oppression. The party said that the so called charge sheet against Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Syedah Aasiya Andrabi and her associates will prove a hoax like the so called charge sheet against the incarcerated resistance leader and JKDFP chief Shabir Shah.
In a statement issued to KNS, party Spokesperson said that slapping of PSA one after another on Masarat Alam has proved beyond doubt that there is nothing against him and he is being put behind bars for nothing. The administration has made its mind to place Masarat Alam behind bars and it is using PSA as a tool otherwise courts have repeatedly quashed his detention and directed his release but the administration is not interested in his release and is adamant on placing him in far off jails. This act on part of the administration is not only condemnable but shameful as well. The JKDFP Spokesperson appealed the human rights forums to play their role in getting prisoners like Masarat Alam out of their long incarcerations.
The Spokesperson while rejecting the so called charge sheet against the jailed Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Syedah Aasiya Andrabi and her associates Nahida Nasreen and Sofi Fehmeeda, said that the said charge sheet will never be proved same as the so called charge sheet of ED against the incarcerated JKDFP chief Shabir Shah was not proved. The Indian agencies like ED and NIA have been told to silent the vibrant voices of Kashmir so they have arrested leaders like Shabir Shah and manufactured charge sheets against them. Since these charge sheets are based on fraud so cannot be proved. The JKDFP Spokesperson said that producing charge sheets after arresting our leaders on fabricated charges is nothing but another deception and a ploy to mislead the masses. (KNS)
