Srinagar, May 23 (KNS): Four civilians were killed while five Border Security Force (BSF) personnel including three were critically injured in cross-firing in Samba and Hiranagar sectors on Wednesday morning.
Reports said that heavy shelling from both sides in Samba and Hiranagar is going on since early today morning.
Local sources said that the residents of Hiranagar and Ramgarh sectors have moved to safer place in view of heavy shelling in their respective areas.
As a precautionary move, all schools within 5-km radius from the IB have been ordered to remain closed.
Heavy shelling was going-on from both sides when this report was filed. (KNS)
