Srinagar, Sep 24 (KNS): Army on Monday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid in Tangdhar sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district by killing five militants so far since Sunday evening.
Defense Spokesman, colonel Rajesh Kalia told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that a soldier was killed in the operation.
He said that the two militants were killed on Sunday evening while three more were killed on Monday, thus taking the toll to five so far.
Kalia informed that the search operation is still in progress. (KNS)
