Srinagar, Feb 29 (KNS): Foundation World School (FWS) conducted their annual talent search programme for students studying in Grade 5 for award of scholarship till Grade 10 at its main campus located at Mamath,Budgam.
The test was aimed to provide a platform to students who are in Grade 5 studying in different schools, a statement issued to KNS said.
“The school provided an opportunity for meritorious students to secure their position to study in what is first of its kind in Kashmir, Cambridge Assessment International Education(CAIE)board at FWS. The curriculum is based on to develop and impart 21st century skills to children,” statement said.
“As a part of our social responsibility, we have started an annual scholarship for talented students to study Cambridge curriculum in FWS. The programme was initiated previous year and offers 5 seats to top scorers ,”said Director Academics, Dr. Muqadam who has recently joined FWS and has been an educator for last 30years in United Kingdom.
The yearly scholarship programme offered by FWS is based upon the candidate’s performance at the entrance examination. (KNS).
