Srinagar, Nov 09 (KNS): Chairman Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) and MLA Khansahib Hakeem Yaseen has cautioned the people against the machinations of selfish political parties who exploit political emotions of the people for satiating their petty interests. He said these parties speak one thing while in power but immediately change their colours like chameleon when thrown out of power.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hakeem Yaseen said some political parties since 1947 have become habitual of playing with the socio-political aspirations of the people with only motto to grab power adding that people of the state have now become politically conscious enough to differentiate between their friend and foes. “The people of the state can no more be deceived on hollow promises, Hakeem Yaseen maintained adding that exploiters of Kashmiris should stop day dreaming to grab power by hoodwinking them. He said sooner or later, exploiters of the Kashmiri's shall have to be answerable before the public.
Hakeem Yaseen said that Kashmir is a live political issue which can be resolved amicably through dialogue between its main stakeholders which include India, Pakistan and the people of the state. He said the soon, Kashmir problem was resolved, the better would be it in the larger interests of the people of India, Pakistan and the people of the state. (KNS)
