Locals appeal PDD to redress their grievance

Bandipora, Nov 30 (KNS): The residents of several villages of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district are up and arms against the Power Development Department (PDD) for failing to provide adequate electricity to them.
The residents from several villages of Bandipora especially Qazipora, Watapora, Putushay areas said that the unscheduled power cuts makes them suffer immensely during the present chilly nights.
Residents said that “we do not receive proper power supply as per schedule and frequent power cuts have become a daily routine now.”
“There is no schedule for power cuts since Darbar shifted to Jammu; this is selective approach and is sheer injustice with us,” an aggrieved resident said.
Residents appealed PDD to ensure regular power Supply so that they will not face any Inconvenience. (KNS)
