Jammu, Jan 10 (KNS): In an emotional outburst the independent legislator from Langate Er Rashid said that even a single member didn't dare to raise questions when National Investigative Agency (NIA) summoned him to Delhi and sought clarifications from the senior Congress leader and former chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for remaining silent over NIA action against him.
Participating in the debate on the motion of thanks to Governor's address Er Rashid told the house that if Kashmir resolution is not the concern of PDP, NC and others then why they are talking about self rule and autonomy. If the mainstream really believes that Kashmir is a issue between Hurriyat and New Delhi and India and Pakistan then better for them to leave it for them to decide the future course and seek votes only for Governance.
Threatening to divulge some sensational revelations about the costing of his vote for Azad for Rajya Sabha elections which according to him would shake the very foundation of Congress party from Kanyakumari to Kashmir for the Congress party, Er Rashid said "he voted for Ghulam Nabi Azad on the basis of ideology but Azad didn't dare to question my NIA action as if I was a Pakistani agent. I am neither anti-Indian nor Pakistani agent and stand for plebiscite promised by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru the first Prime Minister of India to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. "He also handed over an application to Speaker Assembly Kavinder Gupta for a probe into the assets he and his relations own by state Accountability commission or any other independent probe agency. He dared the ruling alliance and the opposition to demonstrate truthfulness if they really want to end the turmoil in Kashmir and must not shy away even from meeting Hafiz Sayeed and Salahuddin for seeking their help in resolving the political destiny of both the divided parts of Jammu and Kashmir including PaK administered Kashmir and Gilgit and Baltistan.
