Srinagar, Jun 30 (KNS): Anjuman Sharie Shian’s Advocate Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi has expressed deep shock and resentment over the fact that Dal dwellers relocated in the wetland turned housing colony Rakh -i -Arth have been deprived of basic health and education facilities leading to adverse results for the population out here.

Advocate Aga made it clear that in name of Rehabilitation the dal dwellers have just found disappointment in the Rakh -i - Arth leading them in both physical and mental distress.

“Doctors have observed that due to lack of hygiene and health care facilities the residents of Rakh i Arth are getting consumed by disease and other problems. The need of the hour is to set special hospital in the area so as to ensure health of residents. A proper chain of educational facilities should also be given. We cannot let down Rakh i Arth in this manner,” Aga said.

Advocate Aga urged the Government to fulfill its promises and provide all basic facilities to the Rakh i Arth residents. (KNS)
