Bandipora, Nov 19 (KNS): The parents of Valley’s renowned political activist, social reformer educationist, Poet and President Citizens Council Prof Ismail Ashna passed away on Sunday at their residence in Bandipora.
As per family sources, Mother Malla Begum and Father Abdul Aziz Bhat of Prof Ismail Ashna breathed their last at around 06:00 pm and 11:00 am respectively.
His mother was 85 and father was 90.
Their Fateh will be observed on Thursday at their Watapora Residence in Bandipora.
Bandipora Journalists Association also expressed solidarity with the family. The association also prayed for the eternal peace to the departed souls.
Bar Association Bandipora also expressed sympathy with bereaved family.
President of Bar Association, Adv Masood Bhat has prayed for the heavenly abode of the deceased besides praying for the courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss. (KNS)
