Srinagar, Mar 13 (KNS): Traffic Police City Srinagar on Tuesday claimed to have booked drivers of eight vehicles consisting of six vans and two mini-buses ferrying school going children from home to school & back.
According to the statement issued to KNS, the officials said that they were booked for carrying more children than permitted. “These vehicles are of private operators and were found overloaded with school going children,” they said.
Officials said that parents of school going children are requested to please see that their school going children sit comfortably in school vehicles ferrying them to school and back home and there is no overloading. (KNS)
