Education department should avoid unnecessary verification system of SSA teachers: Wani

Srinagar, Feb 13 (KNS): Former employees leader and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Qayoom Wani showed serious concern towards the unnecessary verification and third time police verification which seems to be unjustified and time consuming.
In a statement issued to KNS, Wani said that once verified certificates and already cleared police verification need not to be repeated.
He urged upon the worthy secretary school education department,Director School Education Jammu and Kashmir to reconsider this time consuming and repeated process so that SSA teachers may get a sigh of relief.
PDP leader assured the teaching community in particular and whole employee fraternity in general for full support to the employees cause at every level without politicising their issues .
Wani also urged upon the Secretary Education for immediate release of 5 months salary which has been already earmarked/sanctioned.
Wani also said that a committee which has been constituted under the directions worthy Chief Secretary for resolving qualification bar for under graduate teachers have not submitted the report which has created panic among teachers
Wani urged upon the authorities to speed up the process for resolving this genuine issue already accepted in principle by authorities.
Wani said that the Ret teachers who have completed 5 years service and are still unregularised is injustice with them and urged upon the Secretary Education for starting their regularisation process at an earliest.
Wani also condemned the arrogant approach of government towards NHM employees and said that pressure tactics by the government have always yielded negative results.
Wani said that employees have the right to project their demands and nobody can stop them from fighting for their rights. (KNS)
