Appreciates employees friendly role of State Govt

Srinagar, Apr 25 (KNS): J&K Employees Joint Action Committee Third Front on Wednesday met at Srinagar at Engineering Complex Raj Bagh Srinagar and discussed the Government employees and temporary works issues.
According to the statement issued to KNS, EJAC leadership appreciated the employees friendly role of the State Government especially the role of the Chief Minister, Finance Minister, Chief Secretary, Finance Secretary, Home Secretary and other officers/ officials of the Government who put their efforts in implementing the 7th pay commission at its due time.
All the Executive Members, District President and Unit President of the different organizations participated in the meeting and appreciated the role of the Government.
While addressing the meeting senior JCC leader, State President and General Secretary JK Employees Joint Action Committee 3rd Front Abdul Ahad Bandroo and Syed Ghulam Rasool Geelani hailed the State Government for implementing 7th pay commission in favour of the Government employees public sector and other government undertakings and pensioners.
Bandroo and Geelani urged upon the state Government to issue necessary direction to all the heads of the department to submit the requisite information to the finance department for immediate regularization of all the temporary workers under SRO-520 and release their pending salaries as per new rules devised by the Government.
Leaders also stresses upon the Government to release the pending salaries of the teachers who are working under SSA. They appealed the State Government to de-link the SSA salary with state budget for regular disbursement of their salaries.
Bandoor and Geelani appealed the State Government to amendment the recruitment rules of Irrigation and Flood Control, Social Forestry, Floriculture and other departments to release the promotionary prospect of the employees.
EJAC leadership appealed the State Govt. to increase honorarium of the Anganwadi workers and Helpers they also stress upon the State Government to immediately devise the transfer policy in favour of the Rehbar Taleem Teachers who are working with great zeal and zest to improve the education system of the State.
They appealed the state Government to remove all the pay anomalies. EJAC leadership urged the Rank and file of the organization to be united for a just cause. They appealed the employees and temporary workers to be united under the banner of EJAC 3rd Front for the rights of the working class.
