Srinagar, Feb 27 (KNS): The Drug Control department Tuesday raided the illegal drug manufacturing unit in north Kashmir and seized drugs worth lakhs of rupees.
During the raid the drugs worth lakhs of and manufacturing gadgets were recovered/seized.
On the instructions of Drug Controller J&K Lotika Khajuria, a team of Drug control headed by Assistant Drug Controller North Kashmir Bashir Ahmad Banday raided Batagund Village of north Kashmir's Langate.
According to the KNS correspondent, one person was arrested during the raid after he was found making ayurvedic drugs illegally. The other officers who were part of the raid are Drug Inspector manufacturing Tabassum, Drug Inspector Shabir Ahmad Pandit, Drug Inspector Shabir Ahmad Bhat, who raided the Batagund manufacturing unit.
During the raid the drugs worth lakhs of and manufacturing gadgets were recovered/seized. (KNS)
