Srinagar, 02 May: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah on Saturday expressed sorrow over the passing away of daughter of Late Khwaja Abdul Rahim Banday former Nishandihinda Asar- e- Sharief Hazratbal.

The deceased was the sister of Late Khawaja Ghulam Hassan Banday, and Ghulam Mohi –Ud- Din Banday. She was the wife of renowned Islamic scholar, Nishandihinda Dargha e Gousia Rahbab Sahib (RA) Late Mir Syed Ghulam Ahmmad Qadri Mantaqi. Party President while expressing grief prayed for peace to the deceased and courage to the mournful family to bear the loss. Among others additional general Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, senior leader Mubarak Gul, Mohammad Syed Akhoon and Irfan Shah have also extended condolences to the grief stricken Banday and Mantaqi families. The functionaries prayed for peace to the soul of deceased and endurance to the mournful family on their bereavement.

Meanwhile Party President also expressed grief over the demise of Former MD HPMC Hajji Muhammad Yousuf Wani of Kaksarie, Karan Nagar. Party President while expressing his grief said the deceased will be remembered for his administrative qualities and sober persona. He prayed for peace to the deceased and much needed strength to the grief-stricken family. Party’s senior leader Mubarak Gul has also extended heartfelt condolences to the family on their bereavement.
