Srinagar, 12 July (KNS):Noted writer and convener at Northern Regional Board, Sahitya Akademi New Delhi, Dr Aziz Hajini has expressed grief on the sad demise of comedy king and House Hold name of kashmiri speaking areas, the most popular actor of our times Shadi Lal Kaul.
In a statement issued to KNS Hajni said, Shadi Lal's inborn talent gave a new direction to theatre in kashmir during twentieth century. Later he emerged as a leading and everybody's beloved actor on the screens of Doordarshan kandera Srinagar and DD kashir."
His death has created a void in the field of performing arts especially in kashmiri Language. It is next to impossible to fill this gap for a long time "said Hajini in his condolence message. He also termed Shadi Lal as a sincere and lovable human being, who believed in human values and spiritual traditions.
Feeling shocked on demise of late artist, Hajini has prayed for eternal piece of departed soul. He has expressed full sympathy with the bereaved family and artist feternity of Jammu and Kashmir (KNS)
