Srinagar, Mar 11 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir National Conference president Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Monday expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Dr. Mir Sadiq Mansoor S/o late Captain Ali Muhammad.
While expressing grief over the demise of Mir Sadiq, party president said, “Mir Sahab will be remembered for his high spirited and humane qualities. I pray for peace to the soul of departed and strength to the grief stricken family of his to bear the loss. My thoughts and sympathies are with the grieved family.”
Meanwhile Dr. Farooq Abdullah personally paid a visit to the grieved family of late Mir Sadiq at their residence on Bolueward road, Srinagar. Party president was accompanied by additional general secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustufa Kamal and G M Mir Saqi.
The duo expressed condolences with the family members of the deceased and offered fateha for the departed. The departed was the brother of noted cardiologist Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Mir. (KNS)
