Srinagar, Apr 19 (KNS): National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and vice President Omar Abdullah on Friday expressed deep anguish and sorrow over the sad demise of the daughter of senior leader and former minister Mian Altaf Ahmed.

The duo while conveying condolences to the bereaved family, prayed for peace to departed soul.

Dr Farooq in his condolence message said, “I pray for strength to the bereaved especially to Altaf Sb to bear this inconsolable loss.”

Omar while expressing condolences with Mian Atlaf and family said, “My heartfelt condolences to my senior colleague Mian Altaf Sahib. To lose a daughter at the young age of 28 is heartbreaking. May almighty Allah grant Benazir Altaf place in Jannat & may Mian Sahib’s family find strength at this most difficult time.”

Party leaders including Ali Mohammad Sagar, Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal, Nasir Aslam Wani, Chowdhary Ramzan, Mohammad Akbar Lone, Mohammad Shafi Uri, Abdul Rahim Rather, Sakina Itoo, Mir Saifullah, Mubarak Gul, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, Shammi Oberoi, Shameema Firdous, Irfan Shah, Javed Dar, Peer Afaq, Hasnain Masoodi, Dr Bashir Veeri, Altaf Kaloo, Ab Majeed Larmi, G N Ratanpuri, G M Mir, Qaiser Jamsheed Lone, Salam ud din Bajad, Salman Ali sagar, Tanvir Sadiq, Mushtaq Guroo, Imran Nabi Dar, Sabiya Qadri, Ahsan Pardesi, Mudassir Shahmiri also expressed condolences with the bereaved family.
