Srinagar, Jan 29 (KNS): National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah on Monday expressed profound sorrow over the demise of noted religous scholar and prominent Shia leader Maulana Aga Syed Muhamamd Fazalullah. The deceased was the Uncle of NC Leader and MLC Aga Syed Mehmood and grand-uncle of Party Chief Spokesperson and MLA Budgam, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi. 
Paying glowing tributes to Late Aga Syed Muhammad Fazalullah, Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah said in his demise the State had lost a prominent scholar of Islam who would be remembered for ages to come. Expressing solidarity with the Aga family, Dr. Farooq and Mr. Omar Abdullah prayed for peace to the departed soul. 
Senior Party Leaders including NC General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Former Minsiters Abdul Rahim Rather, Muhammad Shafi Uri, Mian Altaf Ahmed, Chaudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Muhammad Akbar Lone, State Spokesperson Junaid Azim Mattu, Party Legislators and Office Bearers have also paid glowing tributes to Late Maulana Aga Syed Muhammad Fazalullah and expressed solidarity with the Aga family and his followers. 
Meanwhile a condolence meeting was held at NC Headquarters,'Nawa-e-Subha' on Monday where glowing tributes were paid to the departed soul. (KNS)
