Srinagar, Dec 21 (KNS): Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Yasir Reshi on Friday asked people not to block roads while protesting for the basic amenities.
Reshi in a statement issued to KNS said that locals in Saderkote recently blocked the road to mark a protest against inadequate water supply, therefore left hundreds of commuters to suffer.
“I urge people don’t resort to blocking of roads to protest against inadequate basic amenities as it causes lot of hardships to the commuters,” he said.
He said that people instead should approach to the district administration to demand restoration of basic facilities. (KNS)
