Srinagar, Nov 28 (KNS): Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan today directed the District Election Officers (DEO) of North and Central Kashmir to complete the special summary revision of Electoral Rolls by November 30.
He was speaking at a video conference with DEO’s and ARO’s DDCs of Baramulla, Budgam, Kupwara and Bandipura. The DEOs informed the meeting that all the pending cases of data entry of new names will be completed by the end of this month and the departments have started work in double shifts.
The Div Com said that utmost care should be taken for authentication of names in both addition and deletion category. He directed the officials to engage extra manpower for completing the task within the stipulated time. (KNS)
